Amuthini Arivazhagan is a first-gen Tamillian from Ellicott City, Maryland. She loves listening to music from Anirudh, Seventeen, NIKI, and Joy Crookes, but also spends a lot of time binging true crime podcasts. At Bryn Mawr, she is either procrastinating on homework, taking random WAWA trips with her friends, or at ASA meetings every Wednesday. Amuthini is super passionate about exploring intersectionality within the Asian community at Bryn Mawr.

Mia is a second-generation Chinese-American from Queens, New York. For fun, she enjoys drawing, making birthday cards, and watching sitcoms. She can be found on campus volunteering with VITA and consuming copious amounts of mint chocolate chip ice cream and cranberry juice in the dining halls.

Kayla is a first generation, half-Black, and half-Filipina student from Claymont, Delaware. With a multiracial background, Kayla appreciates conversations that focus on Asian and mixed race identities, and how to embrace them.
During school, she works as a THRIVE mentor and participates in Choom Boom and Anime Club when she is not busy studying with friends. Outside of school, she loves to learn languages and spend time with her mom during her spare time.

I’m originally from NYC. I have classes at Haverford, Swat, and BMC: both for academic reasons but also because I just love the cookies in all the dining halls. I love both sharing my culture and immersing myself in different Asian cultures through music.
